On 21th of January, "The Program of the Intellectual and Spiritual Development" has started a new series of lectures - "traditional religions". (This program goes on the intellectual and cognitive studio, which is situated near the     Catholicos-Patriarch fund.)  The first meeting was devoted to the theme - "Islam, in its essence, teaching and dissemination." George Lobjanidze was invited to read these lectures. He is the well-known orientalist, Professor of TSU, The Head of Georgias cultural relations center "Caucasian House" Oriental branch manager and the head of "Islamic Cultural Center". He explained the nature of Islam and also explained that in Arabic language, religion of Islam means obedience of God and is a monotheistic religion. Its principles eventually formed in the period of Muhammad Heralds preaching mission. The professor was spoke about Islams origins and its religious teaching, which is based on Islams holy book – The Coran.
